Soooo, this is me perusing one of the best sites ever: Perezhilton.com....and I see a post he puts up of Jesse McCartney. Now, again I must admit, I don't mind the "new"Jesse now that he's all J.T/Robin Thicke-ish. Previous, old teeny-boppy Jesse...couldn't stand him. Anyhow, for those who don't read Perez (losers..j/k..but for real though, you should...) I'll post it myself. All the music and fashion blogs are on fire due to a certain Ms.Knowles.

And no. It isnt B. It's Solange!

We all remember her really really bad attempt at music sometime back when girls rocked butterfly clips in junior high. That album, whatever it was called was horrible. Due to poor marketing, over producing, and a Dad-ager she was made out to be a "possible Beyonce pt 2" (and we all know that aint possible...)

Therefore, after letting her sister be the star that she is, Solange settled down (even if it was only for like 5 min.) had a child (an extra cute little boy) dove into the fashion industry (House of Dereon) and emerged like 6 yrs later (present day) as a budding fashion icon and popstar with looks and sounds that even Beyonce hasnt done.

SO. KUDOS TO SOLANGE. I AM DEFINITELY FEELING YOUR EXPLORATIONS INTO THIS 60'S-ESQUE SOUND AND LOOK. BEYONCE PROBABLY WISHED SHE CAME UP WITH IT. HERE ARE SOME OF MY FAVE PICS OF SOLANGE:

I KNEW I SHOULDA WENT!!!

I'm late on posting this. It' been on my mind for a good 5 days now. Jay-Z (THE BEST RAPPER ALIVE) gave concert goers @ Kanye's concert in NYC (MSG) a sneak peak into the BLUEPRINT 3. The track: "I See You Jocking Jay-Z". The producer: K.West. The level of genius: WAY AHEAD...I MEAN SERIOUSLY..ITS YOUNG AND YEEZY.

After the debut of his fashion "line" (more like sample...), a fave designer of mine Christian Siriano is going into a part of the fashion industry that's not really tapped into. :

MATERNITY WEAR!!

He's gonna team up with 2 friends of his that own a line called Moody Mamas (catchy name!) and his exclusive line (premiering in Spring 09) will be called "Fierce for Moody Mamas by Christian Siriano" (not so catchy..). I'm pretty sure it will be a hit and ultra cute for mothers who still wanna look fab, not frumpy in maternity wear.

As I've been slowly transitioning into this whole "being an adult" thing, I've been entirely neglecting this lovely blog. whoops.. Anyhoosier, working full time while trying to maintain a pretty decent social life is incredibly tiring. So...here's an update.

• Sadly I won't be returning to PhilaU this fall. On the bright side, I'm staying in the best city on earth, home sweet home...NYC!!
• I'm working on plans for my 19th b-day coming up..which includes getting tatted....*gasp*
• This summer, my paycheck has allowed me to do some pretty fun things, which includes my all time fave: SHOPPING! My fall wardrobe is gonna be flipping awes.
• I am still living the single life. Emphasis on "STILL". LOL.
• I don't know if I should live @ home or get an apt with the homies.

There's lots more, but I don't know if everything needs to be posted. I really should update this thing more often. Promise.
